Cuevas Azul

Cuevas Azul is a fully sympathetically restored cave that sleeps up to 6 people.  Cuevas Azul is a traditional cave but with a modern-day twist, with modern amenities set in traditional and authentic surroundings, a perfect blend, it’s quirky, it's charming and away from civilization with all the home living comforts and much more.  Comprises of 3 bedrooms (2 x king size one has a feature skylight and 1 super king room that a log burner and access to a small balcony with stunning mountain views), the living room has comfortable seating areas, TV and log burner, fully functioning kitchen and dining area. The cave has an average temperature of about 18 degrees all year round so cool in the summer & warm in the winter.  Central heating or air-con is not needed, but we have 2 log burners just for a few chilly winter nights (1st baskets of logs is complementary, there is a small charge for replenishment of logs).  Free WIFI.

Many people report sleeping in a cave and say its the best night’s sleep they have had in ages and then wake up to the stunning landscape and fantastic views of the Sierra de Baza mountains.

The Outside area consists of a dining area, a bespoke pool area with sun loungers, reclining chairs, pergola, an outside snug cave, BBQ which is available for use.  Relax, chill and sunbathe during the day by the pool (seasonal), in the evening you can watch the amazing sunsets or just gaze at the stars at night, as there is almost no light pollution and often you can see many stars and planets.

Set in the Rio de Baza, Cuevas Azul is set in a tranquil and un-spoilt landscape with stunning views of the Sierra de Baza Mountain range within the Altiplano de Granada.
