Welcome to Cuevas Azul, a fully restored cave dwelling that blends traditional charm with modern amenities. Nestled away from civilization, this unique accommodation offers the perfect escape with all the comforts of home and more.
Accommodation: Cuevas Azul sleeps up to 6 guests in three beautifully appointed bedrooms:
Two King-size beds: One featuring a skylight.
One Super-king size bed: Boasting a cozy log burner and access to a private balcony with stunning mountain views.
The living room is a cozy haven with comfortable seating, a TV, and a log burner, making it an inviting space to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
With an average temperature of 18 degrees Celsius year-round, Cuevas Azul remains cool in the summer and warm in the winter, eliminating the need for central heating or air conditioning. For those chilly winter nights, enjoy the ambiance of our two log burners (the first basket of logs is complimentary; additional logs are available for a small charge). one full bathroom with a bespoke shower, sink, toilet and another separate
toilet and sink (downstairs).

Outdoor Space: The outside area of Cuevas Azul is designed for relaxation and enjoyment:
Dining Area: Perfect for al fresco meals. with a large table and seating for 8.
Bespoke Pool Area: Featuring sun loungers, reclining chairs, small tables and 2 x pergola for shade, and other areas ideal for sunbathing.
Snug Cave: A cozy outdoor nook, with cushioned seating area.
BBQ Area: Available for guest use with choice of 2 BBQ's (complimentary charcoal for 1st fire)
As night falls, watch the breathtaking sunsets or gaze at the stars, with minimal light pollution allowing for clear views of the night sky.
Location: Set in the tranquil and unspoiled landscape of Rio de Baza, Cuevas Azul offers stunning views of the Sierra de Baza Mountain range within the Altiplano de Granada. You will need a car as the cave is in the countryside about 10 mins from Baza.
Wake up to the spectacular scenery and enjoy the peace and serenity that this unique location provides. Many guests report the best night’s sleep they’ve had in ages, thanks to the calming environment of the cave.
Nearby Attractions: Just a short distance away, you can visit Al Jatib (local restaurant/ cafe bar) for a refreshing beer or a glass of wine, adding a touch of local flavor to your stay.
