Baza walking tour

Historical Walking Tour – Frequently Asked Questions

1. When is the next tour ?

All tours are privately guided and so are available upon request. The best days for a tour are Thursday –

Sunday, as the 13th Century Arab Baths are open to visitors on these days (and included in the tour).

2. What is the minimum/maximum number of people for a tour ?

A minimum of 2 people are required for a tour. The maximum is 6 people, this ensures a more personal

experience.

3. What time is the tour ?

The tours run at 10am and 5pm, scheduled to coincide with the opening hours of the Arab Baths.

4. How long does the tour last ?

The tour typically lasts 2.5 – 3 hours, remember though as it's privately guided, I go at your pace. If we

need to stop more frequently then that's not a problem. The last half hour of the tour is seated in a bar

(drinks not included in price), where I share with you the final (and one of the most fascinating) parts of

the tour.

5. What language is the tour in ?

The tour is currently only in English. A Spanish language tour will be following shortly.

6. Where do we meet ?

We meet at the old train station of Baza (can be found on google maps or ask for directions). There is

ample free parking here.

7. How much does the tour cost ?

The tour costs 15 euros per person and only excludes drinks at the bar.

8. How difficult is the route ?

Obviously it is a walking tour, that said we typically only walk for 5 – 10 minutes before stopping to talk

about a historical aspect of Baza. It is all pavement with plenty of shade in the typically narrow streets,

ensuring we don't overheat in the summer. There are 2 sets of stairs (1 set has hand rails) and the tour can

always be modified as necessary. And remember ... it is a privately guided tour, so you determine the

pace :)

9. How can I book a tour ?

A tour can be booked either by responding to this initial correspondence or by WhatsApp:

+34 684 456 722.

I hope that this answers your questions, however please feel free to contact me if you need any further

information. Take the opportunity to read all the positive reviews on the FB page, or better still book a

tour and allow me to share my passion of the history of Baza with you.
